LaserView of CNY is using the 500hz Wavelight EX500 from Alcon. It enables the surgeons to treat a wide range of refractive errors. It has a large treatment zone, reducing night vision problems. We installed this laser a few years ago, after many years of using the Baush and Lomb Technolas.  The Wavelight EX500 is five times faster than the Bausch and Lomb laser.  It allows us to treat higher prescriptions, including farsightedness, nearsightedness and astigmatism.  The tracker on the laser is able to track the eye using a very large range of pupil size.  It tracks with only 2 milliseconds of latency.

Laserview is proud to provide Intralase Technology, 'All Laser Lasik', to our patients. This bladeless lasik option allows the surgeon to make a thinner flap.  By using this technology the doctors can perform LASIK on patients that have not been candidates in the past. 

We also offer LASIK using a microkeratome, PRK and EpiLASIK procedures.  Your surgeon will discuss the best option for you at your consultation.
